Individual Memberships

  1. Complete the Online Form
    Fill out the application form online.
  2. Prepare Your Documents
    Ensure you have all required materials ready.
  3. Submit Your Application
    Upload your documents during the process or send your documents via email to newmember@ishhypnosis.org.
  4. Review Process
    Our Credentials Committee will review your application.

Required Documents

  • ✔ Resume or Curriculum Vita with information on your field of education and University.
  • ✔ A list and description of your previous training experiences in hypnosis (e.g. workshops and conferences attended, certifications obtained, etc.)
  • ✔ A copy of your license, registration or credential to practice.

Constituent Societies

New Constituent Society (CS) Membership

If your organization would like to become a new Constituent Society of the International Society of Hypnosis (ISH), please follow the steps below.

  1. Submit your application along with all required documents.
  2. Receive your invoice for the application processing fee ($150 USD).
  3. Application review by the Credentials Committee, COR Chair, and Board of Directors.
  4. Notification of status – you will be informed once the review is complete.
  5. Final membership payment – if approved, you will receive an invoice for the remaining dues.

Application Requirements

To ensure a smooth review process, please prepare and submit the following documents:

  1. A complete list of your board members and officers
  2. A current member directory (as of the application date)
  3. Your society’s constitution and by-laws (in English)
  4. Your society’s code of ethics (in English)
  5. A signed addendum to the ISH Code of Ethics (COR Meeting, October 2023). You can access the document here.
  6. A copy of any publications or newsletters issued by your society
  7. Payment of the application processing fee (€110 / $150 USD)
  8. A list of upcoming activities (optional, for inclusion in the ISH event calendar)
